Iranian Nuclear Issues January 2011

The security council suspended all sanctions of enriching uranium in Iran. The leader of Iran states that the country is developing a nuclear program that would help save the oil for export. The security council had its own specific reasons to do so. some of the reasons are listed below
  • If Iran enriches their level of uranium then it would be a possibility they could use the enriched uranium to make nuclear weapons that are very destructive
  • There are fears around the globe of Iran secretly making nuclear weapons
There is always the potential threat of Iran aqiring nuclear weapons because now days making it is not the biggest issue, you can find how to make a nuclear weapon even on the internet. Top Israel military officials say that Iran will not be able to produce any nuclear weapons before the year 2015 because all the measures have been taken to prevent that from happening. Iran let inspectors from foreign nations into the country to check up on the nuclear power plants and so that they can get the permission to start building them but the inspectors were denied of adequate information that they need to know. Iran would not tell the inspectors the main reason behind making these nuclear power plants and whether it is to make weapons.
